Filmkontoret is based in Aarhus and Copenhagen, Denmark.

Founder and director Katrine Borre has worked as independent freelance documentary filmmaker since 1985, in collaboration with a number of production companies. DR-TV, The National Danish Film Institute and Swedish TV are some of the distributors.   Besides, she works in different political forums. Latest as member of the Danish Filmdirectores Legacy Committee. Besides filmmaking, Katrine is regulary part of the jazzscene as a singer.

For the last 10 years, Katrine has worked and specialized in the field of critical psychiatry, engaged in exploring and revealing how money influences diagnosis. Working on a film and a book on the subject, and cant wait to show the world the result.
